This paid training program consists of 2 weeks of full-time training on how to be a reading coach, with an evidenced-based tutoring curriculum; followed by 3 weeks of part-time on-the-job training, shadowing a current tutor. After 5 weeks of training, participants will have the opportunity to be hired as full-time reading tutors working with children ages 3-18 years old within a school setting.

• Training time will be paid at an average rate of $15/hr over the 5 weeks. 

• Hired Tutors must commit to 5 days a week on-site with students

• Hired Tutors will be employed for $17-19/hr

• Parents, Grandparents, Siblings, and anyone committed to serving children are welcome to apply

Eligibility Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Education

• Some college experience (preferred)
