Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist speaks his mind in the latest COVID313 Town Hall
June 11, 2020 – In the midst of a pandemic and protests over the killing of George Floyd Michigan’s Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist had a frank discussion in this week’s virtual town hall about possible reforms in policing while finding ways to reduce harm from COVID-19, especially in African American communities.
In this extended video highlight, Jametta Lilly and Christine Bell of the COVID313 team also discuss with Gilchrist ways urban areas might be able to get better internet service.
