On Friday, February 23, Detroit Parent Network hosted the Taste of Soul event. Our members enjoyed a soul food sampler provided by Urban Soul Detroit and a Black History Month celebration including a down-home rendition of soulful conversations from the past. In addition, our children enjoyed a history lesson on Garrett Morgan’s accomplishments while making edible traffic lights!
